Lake Vermilion is located in Northeastern Minnesota. The lake is over 37 miles long, has 365 islands and over 40,000 acres of surface water--leaving it one of the most scenic lakes in Minnesota. One of the most unique things about Lake Vermilion is that part of the Lake is developed and part of it is not. You can go from a neighborhood atmosphere with public restaurants and golf courses to a very quite and remote atmosphere in a matter of 10 minutes. |

Summer Fun
Boating
Boating on Lake Vermilion is a great way to spend your vacation. There are numerous places to rent boats from, ranging from small fishing boats to ski boats to pontoons. The lake is marked with navigation buoys making boating on the Lake safe. While boating, you can enjoy the scenery, journey to a restaurant and have dinner next to the lake or take a nightly cruise while watching the sunset.
