Lake Vermilion Swimming Areas
Lake Vermilion offers several areas for recreational swimming. Though you can almost always enjoy great swimming right from your own lake lot, some people may prefer the advantages that a public swim area can offer. On the Cook end of Lake Vermilion (western side), you will find great swimming conditions at Peterson’s Landing and the very end of Frazer Bay. On the Tower end of the Lake, you can find swimming beaches at both Hoodoo Point and McKinely Park campground. For additional information, see the links below:
